2018 = Momentum
Happy New Year! 2018 has already promised to be a blessed year ahead and that is our prayer for everyone who continues to spread acts of compassion whether massive or tiny in our communities. We anticipate a lot of momentum on uncovering, fulfilling and changing the lives of people in and around the Denver community!
We are so excited to report that an estimated 200+ families in the Denver Housing Projects and additional families being served by Denver Dream Center (DDC) were supported with gifts this Christmas.
Most of the families served were invited to attend Hope for the Holidays where they could select gifts for their children to ensure there was something under the tree on Christmas morning. Nearly 6000 gifts were handed out.
However, ten special families, totalling in 34 humans had their specific holiday needs met by GratiGive friends and supporters. We went a step beyond toys and ensured clothing, school supplies, and hygiene requests were met. Smiling volunteers lovingly delivered those gifts to their homes the week before Christmas.
We are humbled and grateful for the outpouring of love. We literally had people praying from coast to coast and we even had two separate givers ship their contributions from Arizona.
WHAT?!? ...and WOW!
Additionally, a boy scout troop (7 year olds) from Highlands Ranch made 100 sack lunches for DDC to deliver to families and people in the city!
Thank you for your interest and ongoing support to help reach the multitude of specific needs of individuals and families in a timely manner.
Thank you for your heart. Thank you for reading this post.
In joy!

Stay tuned for upcoming GratiGive projects:
• Kits for new mothers- We want to support new moms with personal hygiene needs, infant tylenol, baby blankets, child safety items, etc. Over the course of the next two months we will be collecting new and gently used items for these kits. If this is something you're interested in supporting we will have more details in the coming weeks.
• Family follow ups: We are going to be checking in with some of the families that had listed some pretty significant food, clothing and hygiene needs and see if there are areas we can help serve them to thrive in their community, education and occupation.
• Sharing the stories: Many of the stories from the people DDC touches are incredible and inspiring. We want to help shine a light on those individuals and showcase God's work in their journey.
