Meet Jeff and Dion. They are the founders of the (soon to be a world changing) app, iRel8, which brings people together to support mental wellness.

"Je-ion" as I sometimes accidentally blurt out, have this crazy, beautiful vision to change the way our culture views mental health... and we all say AMEN!

...because when we strip ourselves down to what we were all given at birth, we have nothing but our bodies and our perfectly, imperfect minds, otherwise known as the human condition.

We all live with varying levels of stress, anxiety, worry, depression, etc. The human experience can be exhausting. Whether you make up fear based thoughts, or you're extensively unemployed (with a family depending on your paycheck), or you're a student facing test anxiety, or perhaps you're your own worst critic beating yourself up (and consequently allowing others to join in)-- we all share this common and cancerous behavior.

Here's the great news, the mind has an ecosystem just like we witness in nature. Just as a bleeding cut eventually scabs over and later reveals restored skin, so does our mind. Sometimes, it just takes another more experienced voice to give us hope and allow us to let nature takes its course on our mental journey. We learn coping skills from one another. We learn to change our perspective.

iRel8 is making aggressive strides to change the way we see ourselves and others. The app is giving US the ability to tackle life's difficulties more easily. We get to do life with people who get "it."

Next month GratiGive and the Denver Dream Center will be blessed to have a partnership with iRel8 where we will be able to provide those struggling in various seasons of life with the app; namely individuals experiencing depression, financial setbacks, peer pressure, addiction, anxiety, etc. It's our hope and prayer that having peer to peer support, 24-hours a day will provide our community with the love and encouragement they need to break bad cycles and propel them to live life to their fullest potential.

Please join us in cheering on iRel8 as they change the world!

Oh, and here's this awesome article published by iRel8 featuring the Denver Dream Center/GratiGive and yours truly.

God is good.
